Laura
Tenison is the founder and Managing Director of JoJo Maman
Bébé, a quirky and imaginative collection of
everything you need from pregnancy to pre-school. |
|
|
|
Known
predominantly for its mail order and web sales, Laura has
grown the company over 14 years to now employ over 250 employees,
with a turnover of around £18M. Retail expansion was
launched three years ago and there are now 22 stores in the
portfolio. |
|
|
|
The
company policy is based on strong codes of ethical business
practice, both in product manufacturing and sourcing in the
UK and overseas. JoJo also assists it’s company charity
in the form of a new website (built and maintained by JoJo)
and a recent donation of 400 mosquito nets to pregnant women. |

Laura
Tenison was the Welsh Entrepreneur of the Year 2003, Harpers
& Queen Entrepreneur of the year 2005, Winner of the Fast
Growth Business Awards Female Entrepreneur of the Year 2007
and received and MBE for services to business in the Queen’s
2004 New Year's Honours List. |
