I'm
Allison Price and early 2006 I was a year into coaching clients
and training with the ICA ( International
Coaching Academy ) when I found out I was pregnant. |
I
loved the course and had a lot of success with corporate clients
and decided that I would continue in this vein after I graduated
and had bub. |
As
my pregnancy progressed, however, I found I was utilising
my coaching skills in all areas of my life - managing my time,
staying fit and healthy, preparing for the birth and tiffs
with my partner! |
Informal
coaching of other Mums further reinforced the value of coaching
in pregnancy and motherhood. Not only did it help them clarify
their needs and the best way to achieve them but they were
getting answers that were unique to them and their situations. |
It's
for this reason I decided to launch Motivating Mum. There
are enough corporate coaches in the world and I want to be
able to use coaching to help other Mums, like it helped me
and my friends (and still does every day). |
After
all, a woman will never be more challenged, stressed or fortunate
(generally all at the same time!) as when she's a Mum. And
never will she need a helping hand, a cheerleader, a friend
or a coach more. |

Cheers! |
