I'm Alli and Motivating Mum is a testimonial to everything I have been through as a mumpreneur and mother.

Initially only a coaching business for mums, I quickly realised how isolating it was to work from home whilst looking after my daughter. I developed the Businessmums' Networking Lunches on a hunch that there must be other mums like me out there - and there were - 40 or so of them! Word spread and now over 350 mums have been to a Businessmums' Lunch to hear mums from Organix, Jo Jo Maman Bebe and Bravissimo (to name a few) speak.

Listening to successful mums at the lunches was inspiring but I realised there needed to be an opportunity to turn theory into practice. Brainstorm in a Teacup was born; a chance for mums in business to not only work on their business, but to offer their skills and experience to help others at the same time.

The re-launch of my business and associated initiatives are also an extension of all I have experienced to date.

Mentoring Mum is born of having very little money to pay for business advice and understanding that businessmums out there have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share, Event Management Mum is because I understand that sometimes we want to celebrate our business and Diary Management Mum is because I know you are reading this at 12 midnight while trying to finish the last of your work!
