One of the cornerstones of the Motivating Mum philosophy is that although it's great to connect online - it's even better to meet face to face! Get a break from the computer, relieve the isolation of running a business from home or simply get out for some adult conversation!
At our networking lunches you can be inspired by amazing mumpreneurs, like Laura Tenison of Jo Jo Maman Bebe and Saira Khan of Miamoo, over a two-course meal while meeting like-minded mums.
This is your chance to work on your own business. Bringing together six mums over a coffee, as a group we solve each others challenges, issues and problems and support each other in succeeding.
This is for those of you who need a drink and a chat! Also with an inspiring speaker, these nights are more informal and allow mums the chance to network or simply blow off some steam!

I am a mum in business and run MothersLife - coaching for mums.
In addition to this I have recently set up the South East London Mumpreneur Network which offers mums in business or wishing to be in business with the opportunity to engage with a community of other mums to support and ultimately inspire each other, while networking, finding new business, developing confidence and sharing experiences and ideas.
I organise ‘networking lunches' and ‘brainstorm in a teacup' sessions across SE London in association with Motivating Mum.

What do you do when you think your career won't fit with the new job you've just been given - being a mum? That's exactly how Caroline Laycock felt when she became a mum in 2007 but has since found something interesting and rewarding that is keeping her busy and helping her to find a balance at the same time.
Caroline runs Talking Tots classes in West and SW London - fun, interactive classes for preschool children that help to boost communication and language development. Talking Tots is the brain child of two paediatric speech and language therapists from Lancashire. With their knowledge of how childrens' language and communication skills naturally develop they created a programme of age-appropriate, fun activity sessions to boost this development in 1-4 year olds.
Caroline and her team run public classes as well as nursery sessions - the hours are very child friendly as the sessions take place in mornings or afternoons during the school term. "I thoroughly enjoy working with the little ones and am constantly bowled over by their level of engagement in the activities and the response I get. It's so satisfying to be able to offer fun, stimulating sessions that really boost communication development in the early years, giving children the best start possible when they go to school," she says.
With her experience of being a mum trying to develop a new business, and having attended some of my Motivating Mum networking lunches, Caroline was perfectly placed to become one of my associates. Caroline represents us in West London and runs networking lunches and brainstorm in a teacup sessions for mums in this area.
