The National Women on Their Way Awards have been created to celebrate the achievements of women throughout the UK. It’s about inspiring women to achieve at the levels they desire in business and in corporate life.  The Awards will recognise those women on the move, those who mobilise others and those who create change when it all feels too hard.

The Cartier Women's Initiative Awards

Deadline: March 10, 2010 at 11.59 pm, time zone GMT+1.

The Cartier Women’s Initiative Award is an international business plan competition created in 2006 by Cartier, the Women’s Forum, McKinsey & Company and INSEAD business school to identify, support and encourage projects by women entrepreneurs. Five Laureates, one for each of the five regions, are selected annually. They receive a unique and comprehensive support package: US $ 20 000 of funding, one year of coaching, networking opportunities and media exposure. The Award categories are: Africa, Asia (incl. Middle-East and Oceania zone), Europe, Latin America (incl.
Caribbean), North America. Women entrepreneurs of all countries, nationalities and industries can participate.

First Women Awards

The First Women Awards, held in association with Lloyds Banking Group, were created by the CBI and Real Business magazine in 2004 to recognise female pioneers across British business. professional and public life.

Over the past five years, First Women Awards have been presented to superstars of global business- Nicole Farhi, Baroness Sarah Hogg, philanthropreneur Ann Gloag. They have also celebrated unsung heroines of British life such as Julie Spence, chief constable of Cambridge Constabulary; Rosalind Murray the most senior woman in the UK submarine industry; and Perween Warsi, creator of S&A Foods.

Mumandworking Awards

Top Employers for Working Families

Organisations that implement the best family-friendly policies are to be recognised in the ‘Top Employers for working families’ awards organised by leading work-life balance charity, Working Families. The winners will be recognised at a gala lunch and awards ceremony in London in October, with shortlists announced in September. Uniquely, the Top Employers for working families list will be validated by independent human resource centre the Institute for Employment Studies. 

There are 15 awards categories to address different types of policy (such as paternity, flexible working, carers, emergency childcare) and to recognise the leaders within specific industries (such as retail, finance, professional services, public sector) and business sizes.

Baby Product Association Concept & Innovation Awards

The BPA invites anyone with a nursery product that is unique or unique in application to enter the award programme.  Whether you are a student with a new concept that will challenge the boundaries of technology and design or an entrepreneur with a new product that will intuitively fill a gap in the market place, the BPA would like to hear from you.
