Robyn hadn't planned on starting up her own home based business after having 2 children - in fact, it was the last thing on her mind!  After 12 years of climbing the corporate ladder as an HR Consultant, working both in South Africa and the UK, Robyn found that a large part of her job involved career counselling professional women who found themselves at a crossroads. Soon after facing her own career crossroads (trying to have a fulltime yet fulfilling career and enjoy her children), Robyn took the plunge and launched her own venture called "Mums The Business".

As a Business Trainer & Mentor, Robyn specialises in helping other mums successfully start-up and grow their own home-based business. Driven by a desire to show that mums can have a successful and profitable home-based business that is based on their own terms, Mums The Business offers training and workshops in:

Social Media;  Networking Skills;  Confidently Presenting your Business; Business start-up workshops for mums considering Franchises, Network Marketing or starting up their own business creation; and also Personalised Business Mentoring.

Robyn now runs TWO home based businesses (Mum’s The Business; Robyn Hatley - Arbonne).  And she is soon to launch an online training website for womanpreneurs (She’s The Business).  As a skilled work/life balance artist (after much practice!), Robyn also manages to spend quality time with and run after (!) her 2 young and energetic daughters, and her equally energetic husband (who recently retired as a professional sportsman).
