With a life-long passion for art and design and an ever-present affinity to technology I've been designing and developing websites since all the way back in 1996.
In my professional career I worked at the BBC for 7 years designing services for the web, interactive TV, mobiles and future emerging platforms. So I've learnt a great deal about all the many facets of user experience design such as user interfaces, usability, information architecture, accessibility and of course visual design.
Leaving the BBC I founded Pixel Air, my own web design agency in Cheshire, where I work today and utilise my years of knowledge to push the boundaries of interaction design and create visually innovative and user friendly online products for a diverse range of clients.
SPECIALTIES: In-depth experience in Interface design, iterative prototyping, usability, navigation, information architecture. Highly skilled in Photoshop & Illustrator and proficient in Flash and Actionscript. Knowledge of XHTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, PHP alongside MySQL. Understanding of web-based applications, AJAX and similar variants. Broadcast motion graphics using After Effects and video editing in Final Cut Pro.

I am a qualified corporate/commercial lawyer with over 12 years experience gained in a large City law firm, ITV Plc, Virgin and latterly being a director of a global property company. I set up lawyers4mumpreneurs in 2009 as a result of wanting to work flexibly whilst looking after a young family.
My passion is in helping other women who have decided to do what I have – namely set up and grow their own business in order to spend more quality time with their families. I have over 13 years of Marketing & PR experience working with a number of small and large companies in different industries. My career began at a multimedia software publishing company in Paris in 1997 and then a real estate management company in Washington DC. In London my positions covered campaign management and communications roles in a number of industries including education, food retail, men’s fashion, office design & build and outdoor/adventure sports products. I am also actively involved in many areas of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, including the popular Women In Marketing group running a series of events and awards celebrating the success of women in marketing and men who market to women.
After many life-changing events including the birth of my first child I decided to start something for myself, and where better to start than with something I was experienced in and still very passionate about. Hence the birth of GreenBean Marketing in 2008 offering affordable marketing and branding advice and services to start ups as well as SMEs. Since setting up GreenBean Marketing I have worked with and helped launch a number of businesses including: a company supplying multicultural toys and learning aids to schools and nurseries; an innovative desserts manufacturer; a mental healthcare company; a conference production company and a supplier of executive training programmes.
As a business mum myself with two young boys I'm well aware of the many challenges that face business mums. As well as being passionate about my profession, really enjoy helping mums succeed in their business aspirations.
