Career bio

I’ve worked throughout my career in graphic design and marketing of one kind or another, latterly for Michael Peters at Identica.  I was head of project management for this global branding consultancy and worked on many different accounts – both in FMCG and service industries.  This background gave me experience in how to plan projects; how to develop new products; how big companies work; and obviously in print, graphics and web design – all of which have been very useful in helping me set up and run The Children’s Furniture Company.  We have been running the company now for over 8 years and in that time have grown year on year, expanding the ranges and this year, as well as selling directly to end customers via the web and brochures, offering our unique furniture to top end retailers.

About Me

Charlie and I now run the Company together – he handles design and production, whilst I concentrate on sales & marketing.  Having my office at home has meant that on the whole I am around for our two boys, now 10 & 12, and just about manage to give them the time they need as well as keeping on top of the business.
