Career bio

I am a jack of many trades having worked as marketing manager of a 4* hotel, production manager making commercials and corporate films, life coach, event manager, waitress and bartender. Skills I have amassed have been many and varied. I am an ideas person, with a faultless execution. I am excellent at creating direct marketing plans, planning and running unique events, sales, networking and developing relationships with sponsors and affiliates, identifying what a client wants, creating and maintaining a brand, time management and organisation. Operating Motivating Mum has also meant that I have experience with running a small business dealing with simple accounts, web design, copywriting and legal issues.

Personally, I feel I could also help people with buliding a business, moving to Australia, franchising, distributing in Australia, confidence (believing in themselves and their product), managing guilt, prioritising and all those other areas that challenge us as Mumpreneurs!

About me

I'm an Aussie who lived overseas for 10 years - half of it spent travelling and the other half spent having two minxes, finding a lovely boyfriend and launching Motivating Mum.  I moved back to Melbourne, Australia in 2010 and launched Motivating Mum Oz at that time.  I now spend most of my time raising the gals, while emailing and tweeting during nap time and then from 10pm - 12am every night!
