Career bio

I am a qualified accountant and worked for two large international media companies for 8 years covering all aspects of finance, budgeting, business planning and strategic analysis. 

Prior to setting up Nappy Valley, I gained small company experience working for a jewellery designer, who at the time was expanding from a small local business to a large retail operation in Central London. Although I was in charge of the finance and business operations, the role was very hands on and taught me many aspects of retail, including stock control and customer service.

It wasn’t until baby number one came alone that I seized the opportunity to do something on my own. I had always wanted to have my own business and have always loved brainstorming ideas. I was keen to set something up that would enable me to have the flexibility to be with my children but at the same time still stimulate me work-wise.

I do believe there has never been a better time for the "mumprenuer" and believe I am well placed to offer help and advice on the realities of running a small internet business from home.

About me

I'm mum to two "super-hero obsessed" little boys aged 4 and 2. I recently moved out of London to the burbs, and am so far enjoying the fresh air and not missing the traffic and noise.
