And so the time has come, the work is all done, and I have a few minutes to look over my creation, before offering it to you all and hoping that you like it. Mummy Mentoring Month, our huge charity mentoring festival begins today, and I hope that you will enjoy all the goodies we have on offer at Motivating Mum over the next month.

As I write this on the night before the launch, I’m very proud of what I have managed to put together and very grateful for the donations of time and services from so many busy people.

If anybody is reading this and has not yet read any of my other tweets or promotional stuff about Mummy Mentoring Month, this is what is going to be on offer:

• A guest blog, on this site every day between now and March 31st.  Please bookmark the site – join up with Google Friend Connect or Networked Blogs and come back every day to read the huge variety of blog posts.  How often can you get free advice from 31 different mentors in one month?
• 29 mentors, offering telephone mentoring sessions for £20 per half hour.  This includes some very high profile names who have donated a small number of sessions. These people do not take on many mentees and certainly not at this price. Please take advantage of it.
• 23 people have donated sessions of business advice, life coaching, training and pampering. Between them , the donated sessions are worth over £5,000 yet each one will be sold for less than half its normal price.  There are some real gems in this list.

If you have ever wanted to try life coaching, or if you have a specific business query that you would like answered, then now is the time to take advantage of these offers.  Not only that, but every penny you spend on training, mentoring etc. will go directly to Nema, our charity for Mummy Mentoring Month.

The donated sessions are on the website for a few days, so that you can browse them, see what the various mentors and donors have to offer, and pick which is the best service for you.

The services and mentoring will be available to buy from 11am on Monday 7th March.  However subscribers to the Motivating Mum newsletter will get a 30 minute head start on this, so they will probably snap up the best bargains. Of course, with an event like this that has never been run before, there is always that little moment of doubt.  What if no-one likes it, what if no-one comes?  What if I’ve wheedled and pleaded with all these people to give their time and effort to this project and nobody wants these services? Sitting here and writing this at five minutes to midnight with all the rest of the house asleep these fears seem only too real.

I’ve got very close to this event over the last six weeks or so, it has occupied most of my waking moments (when I wasn’t with the children) and disturbed my sleep some nights.
